Four Tripura towns have a 2012 story. Ambassa does not. Dhalai was created in April 1995 by bifurcating North Tripura and taking in part of the Amarpur sub-division of South Tripura, and the 2012 reorganisation left it alone entirely. There is no Gazette counter in Ambassa, in Agartala, or anywhere in Tripura. The file goes to one office in Delhi, so this is the step where living in the emptiest district in the state costs you nothing whatever. Anybody locally offering to file a Central Gazette notice within the state is describing something that does not exist, though preparing papers and sending them to Delhi is legitimate work.
